- Cloud-init: `25.2-10.fc43`
- QEMU Guest Agent: `10.1.5-1.fc43`
- Fixed swap: 1 GiB `/swap.img`; Fedora zram disabled through the supported empty `/etc/systemd/zram-generator.conf` override
- The narrowly scoped CloudStack datasource fix documented in the production runbook was reapplied after the final update.

## CloudStack registration

Register the template privately with these settings:

- Hypervisor: KVM
- Format: QCOW2
- OS type: Fedora Linux (64-bit)
- HVM: Yes
- Password enabled: Yes
- SSH key enabled: Yes
- Public: No
- Featured: No
- Template details: `guest.cpu.mode=host-model` only

Do not copy transient CloudStack runtime details such as `SSH.PublicKey`, `SSH.KeyPairNames`, `rootdisksize`, or `Message.ReservedCapacityFreed.Flag`.

## Verification

Before registration:

```bash
sha256sum fedora-43.qcow2
qemu-img info --output=json fedora-43.qcow2
qemu-img check fedora-43.qcow2
```

Fresh Base, Pro, and Ultra instances passed root password provisioning, SSH-key isolation, hostname and public networking, 30/50/80 GiB root growth, fixed 1 GiB swap, fresh SSH host keys, SELinux enforcing, zero failed systemd units, and QEMU Guest Agent checks. Base also passed a reboot test. A separate password-only Base smoke test from the canonical mirror URL and final UUID passed.

Fedora 43 cloud-init records non-fatal `dhcpcd --dumplease` warnings and may report `extended_status: degraded done`; the validated runs had `status: done` and an empty `errors` list.
